MNW with special guest: Katrin Plavcak
'AIM' - is an exhibition showing 16 different painting positions from the MNW MalerinnenNetzWerk Berlin/Leipzig and one guest artist Katrin Plavcak. It includes figurative, conceptual and abstract painting representing the range of positions within the MNW.
'AIM' shows this exchange and engagement in the contemporary discussion about painting through the well-chosen seventeen singular positions. The exhibition is about the individual (individual themes and techniques, handling of the material and the differences in understanding painting), but it also shows how differences can encourage and reinforce one another positions.
It is important for us to involve guest artists and curators.
